Plant Families If you are allergic to one food, you are also likely to be allergic to other groups within the same family. The common foods mentioned below are grouped in families and it is likely that if you are allergic to one food in the group you are also allergic to others in the same group. It is therefore recommended that if you demonstrated allergy to one food in the group, you reduce your intake of all the others in the same group. PLANT FAMILIES
