Catch your Hayfever by Surprise

Summer may be a long way away, but many of us will soon be suffering the effects of hayfever which can be at best, annoying and at worst, debilitating.

Friday 16th February was Hayfever Alert Day, organised by the British Allergy Foundation to encourage sufferers to begin taking preventative measures now, instead of relying on antihistamines and other drugs. So why not try some of the following this year:

- Homeopathy
Mixed pollens, or other remedies as advised by your practitioner can help to keep hayfever at bay. Start taking a few months before your symptoms usually begin.

- Vitamin C
This important supplement may help to boost your immune system, fighting allergies and vitamin C also contains antihistaminic properties.

- Naturopathy
Hayfever may be caused by specific types of pollen local to your area. Buy honey produced at a local apiary, where the bees have already processed the culprit pollens for you and take 2-3 spoonfuls a day, from 2 months before your symptoms usually develop.

- Look Cool, Feel Good
Buy a good sized pair of sunglasses to keep pollen away from the eyes and cut down glare if your eyes are already aggravated.

Thought for the Day:

The dumbest people I know are those who know it all.

SO YOU WANT TO STOP SMOKING ONCE AND FOR ALL?

There is no single magic approach to stopping smoking.  It’s a learned behaviour (we’re not born smokers).  There is a major psychological element as well as chemical dependency.  No single formula, system or product will do the job. All they do is make the manufacturers richer.  That’s why so many attempts fail.

Whilst there is no quick, easy way to quit smoking - if you want to find out how you can stop once and for all - call Edith Maskell now on FREEPHONE 0800 093 1178 for a FREE initial consultation.
