Myrrh Health Benefits Investigated

Myrrh has traditionally been associated with Death in western culture. However, it has been a part of Indian Ayurvedic Medicine for 2,000 years and is believed to have many therapeutic properties.

Doctors at the University of Pennsylnania, USA are currently studying it's effects on patients who suffer from high cholesterol levels. Initial results are encouraging and patients have reported few side effects. Even so, there appears to be little concrete documentation on the trials to date and the medical industry in general is still awaiting a "scientific basis for it's effectiveness".
