Smoking Drug Linked to Deaths Anti-smoking drug Zyban, which reduces the craving for Nicotine, may be linked to 18 deaths according to recent reports. The department of health believes these reports may be flawed as the victims could already have suffered from other serious health conditions. Zyban has been used by 250,000 people in Britain. A recent study in the U.S suggested a 33% success rate and found the drug to be twice as effective as nicotine patches.
