Exercise Cuts Cancer Risk People who exercise regularly reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and osteoporosis. But you should now add cancer prevention to this long list of exercise benefits. British Scientists studied 7,533 middle-aged men for almost 19 years. Men who exercised vigorously at least two to three times per week had a 24% reduction in all types of cancer and a 62% percent drop in upper digestive tract cancer.
